Presbyterian Women

Presbyterian Women is an independent organization within the Presbyterian Church. The group offers ways for local women to live out their faith in an inclusive, caring community.

Each church has member groups, Wednesday Willing Workers meets weekly on Wednesday from 9:30 am – 2:00 pm at the church.  All are welcome and you don’t have to be a member of the church to participate.  Our primary mission work is to sew dresses, trousers and layettes for children in Africa.  We also give monthly to local missions and support the Presbyterian camp on Flathead Lake as well as helping fund our local church.  We also strive to foster fellowship around the church.  To help fund our missions, we hold a Bazaar in the fall and a big church-wide rummage sale in the spring.

We currently have three circles of about 10 women each who meet at the church once a month for bible study, a short business meeting and fellowship. All women are welcome to attend circle meetings. They meet as follows:
Abigail Circle:    9:30 – 11:30 a.m. – 1st Tuesday of each month
Esther Circle:    9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - 1st Tuesday of each month
Rebekah Circle: 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. - 1st Thursday of each month

If you are interested in joining us, just come by a meeting and see what we are about.  We also post information on church bulletin boards.

Presbyterian Women’s mission:

Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves

to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study,
to support the mission of the church worldwide,
to work for justice and peace,
and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God's kingdom.

For more than 200 years Presbyterian women’s groups have strengthened the Presbyterian Church and played a major role in sharing the good news of Jesus Christ and witnessing to the promise of God’s kingdom. Come see how you can join in.
